Hi, I really wanted to try this software and have just downloaded and installed the trial version. When I open it though, it seems extremely glitchy, and there were immediate problems with the brush. the lines were a light grey: https://i.imgur.com/9XzhQfX.jpg The "water" function doesn't seem to work, the brush will not change color, and some of the time the brush doesn't work at all (nothing happens), or they uncover this: https://i.imgur.com/wpr29tn.jpg

Only twice did the brushstrokes turn black and more "ink like", and I don't know how that happened. https://i.imgur.com/r3gNK96.jpg The other functions still did not work the first time. The water sort of worked the second, but this was all it would do: https://i.imgur.com/HpPbLka.jpg (that's the closest I've come to any sort of sucess in making the program work) The eraser option makes the image flash horribly, and it does not stop until you start doing something else. The "clear" option does not work, either. I haven't even tried my tablet yet, I'm using my laptop's trackpad right now.

It does not give me any sort of error, (although after playing around a little I did get one regarding the textures) and I've tried the fixes listed on the website's support page. This is what the system checker program gives me for my computer:

OS: Windows 8.1 (6.3)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 Logical Cores)
Mem Total: 8.1 GB Free: 4.53 GB
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 @ OpenGL 4.3.0 - Build 10.18.10.3960
Max Texrure Size: 16384 Max Output Size: 12000
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080

Is my computer compatible? It isn't very old. I don't know if it matters, but other "liquid" paint software such as Rebelle and Verve have worked just fine for me on this computer. I really hope there is a way to fix this. How long does the trial last, by the way? I don't want to use up all the time trying to make it work and then not be able to try the software. I couldn't find that information listed anywhere.

Hi, thanks for reporting. May I know what version of Expresii are you using?
The latest version now is [2016-08-29]. There're some recent changes that could have fixed those errors you encountered for Intel GPU. Can you try update the app?

As for the trial period, don't worry, if it expires sooner than you need, just let me know and I'll make it work for you.

Thank you for your help, I was using the version labeled 2016/8/10, I've now updated to the latest version, and this is all I get: https://i.imgur.com/irOjXXh.jpg

I think maybe this program just isn't meant for my computer at the moment, I'll keep an eye on it and check back in a while once some of the bugs might be worked out, or once I have a new computer. Even if I can't try it right now, I definitely want to in the future!

Maybe one last try: update your intel graphics driver. I just run Expresii on a 4400 with a newer driver than what you have.
It ran fine.

That seems to have done the trick, thank you! I downloaded my trial key, but the program hasn't asked for it yet, how do I use it?

That's great! And may I repost your screenshot showing error to our support page to tell other users to update their driver?

Expresii would ask you to register on your first artwork saving (and on startup, right?). There you will enter the License Key. Smile

Sure, you can repost whatever you like. Expresii does not ask for a key on startup, (I was expecting it to require one then, so that's what confused me) but now that I've tried I see it does ask when saving. Thanks. Smile
