1.- CRITICAL This message pops up every 10 seconds or even so... the app keeps working, but of course it's practically unusable with this popping up so frequently. Once it pops up the wacom tablet seems to stop working, and the ink keeps loading the "paper", even without touching the tablet with the pen. Clicking with the pen stops the painting, but then the message will pop up. Also, the "code number" seem to change every time the message pops up. Update: USING YOUR NVIDIA SETTINGS TO MAKE EXPRESSI USE THE NVIDIA PROCESSOR BY DEFAULT SEEMS TO FIX THIS. The error only seems to pop up if EXPRESSI USES the integrated graphics

2.- Windows won't snap after restarting the program (every time I restart it defaults to full screen), when I usually want to to have the artwork window beside the app menu window. EDIT: Using the NVIDIA processor seems to fix this as well.
3.-  CRITICAL I cannot for the life of this app choose a custom color for my brush. No matter what I click I cannot change a color. I cannot change the default black gradient of the custom setting. I only can use the default color gradients (pumpkin, crimson, etc). EDIT: It seems that if I use the alt shortcut to select a color for the eyedropper, only then I can change the color of the brush. Clicking on the color wheel or color picker still doesn't work

3.- The app update feature seems to want to update to a v.2016/08/04, but it doesn't seem to exist. The app will update but the version will still be the v.2016/008/03

I'll keep posting as I keep finding them.

Managed to do about 5 minutes of abstract painting before it crashed... this was the error message that appeared right after windows told me it was shutting down the app.  Crying or Very sad   Sad

Could you please let us know your Intel graphics driver number and which Intel GPU you're using?
You can go to the System Info dialog of Expresii and copy and paste the system info here.

FYI, our win10 machine (before anniversary update) with intel Atom z8700 works without those critical errors. Also, window snapping works just fine - and last window positions also restored after restart. I'll need to do a redstone update before I can confirm if it's the OS update that causes those error. I'll let you know.

Sorry about the update date - it should be due to different time zones when we display the time. The 08/03 you get should actually be the 08/04 version. We'll try to fix that later.

And yes, FYI, color selection and picking from the hex color picker also works fine here. Note that in the wheel picker, pressing on the color ring doesn't get you a color - it only changes the hue of the square picker inside it. To get a color, you need to press on the square picker inside.

O.. sorry, I just realized using stylus to pick on the wheel picker is buggy. For now, please either use a mouse on it, or use the hex color picker instead. Will fix it soon.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.  Very Happy So i now made EXPRESII to use the NVIDIA Graphics Driver by default, so those critical errors and crashes are gone, here is my info:

Max Texrure Size: 16384   Max Output Size: 12288

Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080 (DPI Scale Unknown)
Stylus: WACOM Tablet, Wintab Digitizer Services (x:44703 y:27939 p:1023 @ 200Hz)

The integrated graphics of my CPU should be: Intel HD Graphics 4600. The driver version is: 20.19.15.4444

I still can't manage to use the color picker correctly, or maybe I am using it wrong? I just want to be able to select the color of the brush, like it would work for example in Photoshop. So maybe I'm using the app incorrectly (but I really wish I could just select the color I want like in PS).

Managed to make a quick terrible study of the despicable Donald Trump by only using the ALT key and sampling the default color gradients that are provided in the app (not an ideal workflow as you might imagine).

Yeah, it's definitely buggy. I launched the app with a new artwork, and using the stylus on the color picker worked with the custom brush for a few clicks... i would make the stroke, and then suddenly i couldn't change the color anymore. Switched to using the color picker with the mouse, and it wouldn't work. Made another brush stroke in the artwork, and now clicking on my desired color in the color picker would work for a few clicks... then stops working for good. I'm glad you can see that! Thanks for looking into this so quickly.

About the color picker issues - it's all due the the fact we have to use an wintab32.dll emulator for Win8 or later.
If you want to get rid of the issue now, you can try installing Wacom's driver - which provides its own wintab32.dll and Expresii should pick that up so that we don't need to rely on the emulator.
