My brush doesn't seem to work

I used Expresii about half a year ago for a different project and it worked beautifully. When I signed back in and started working on it again my brush doesn't seem to work.
I can't even reorder my layers. Not sure why. I checked the brush was able to pick up colours, change in size and wetness level just doesn't seem to be able to leave any marks on the paper. Can you please help? Thanks
