FYI: Surface Pro X should run Expresii [2021 update] (was: Surface Pro X doesn't support Expresii)
Some users asked us if Expresii runs on the Surface Pro X. doesn't The answer is NO, because Windows on ARM doesn't support OpenGL yet. The same goes for other Windows on ARM devices like the Samsung Book S. We of course hope that Microsoft would one day add support for proper OpenGL for Windows on ARM so that Expresii can run on ARM devices.

Some hope at last! MS is working on a mapping for OpenGL on DirectX 12:
https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/in-the-works-opencl-and-opengl-mapping-layers-to-directx
which means Expresii, which requires OpenGL 2.1+, can possibly run Windows on ARM finally. I said *possibly*, because we still need Win-on-ARM to emulate the DirectX API to have the whole pipeline complete.

[2021 Update]
In theory, Surface Pro X should run Expresii, since Expresii even runs on 'Windows on ARM' on M1 Mac machines via Parallels (http://www.expresii.com/blog/expresii-running-on-m1-machine-via-parallels-165), thanks to Microsoft's implementation of OpenGL 3+ (Expresii now requires OpenGL 3.0 instead of 2.1) via DirectX API. In practice, I haven't seen anyone actually did it, and I believe if it does run, it won't be very fast.
