[Resolved] Dual Monitors Issue

Expresii wants to load onto the Main Display in a multi-monitor situation.

Trouble is, the monitor I want to use is a Huion display tablet.

I can make the Huion my main display and it works. But is there a way to FORCE Expresii to load on my Huion, even though the Huion is NOT designated Main Display?

I was not able to just drag the display window over, as you can with most other apps.

Hi Kelphil, I just tested latest Expresii v2023.04.13 on a Surface pro 8 with an external XP-Pen pen display. I have no issue dragging Expresii to the XP-Pen display, which is not the primary display. Both the surface pen and the xp-pen pen work on their respective monitor. Expresii stays put also after app restart. Tested on Windows 11 but I expect it works on Windows 10 too.

YES.

The 64 bit version on their website is what I downloaded. My "main" display is a Philips 27"4K, but I draw (do art) on the Huion. I could not make the app window move at all! It's an almost new PC with VERY good specs. GPU is an RTX 3070.

WHERE did you download it from, please? I may NOT have the latest! Though why it's so prominently featured on their site, I don't know. Thanks!

EDIT: Looking at the Microsoft Store info, they feature the same version that I have, 1.0.82.0 (2020.04.08).

I'm sorry that I still have no idea why it's not working for your case. I made a video of my working set up with Surface Pro 8 and a XPPen pen display:


Do you notice anything that could make a difference? Or, you can also make a quick video of your case as I'm still not sure exactly how the window is not draggable for you.

As I noted in a reply, I apparently do not have the most recent version. Where can I download that, please?

Opps, sorry I read your previous reply wrong: I thought you had 2023.04.08, rather than 2020.04.08.

The 64-bit link would give you v2023.04.14. I just clicked that link to confirm.

btw, if you're not using the latest version, by default the app would check for updates and will prompt you to update it regularly.

Looking at your Update Log, the version 2023.04.13 is referenced, but not a link TO it.

There's a prominent download button "Download 64-bit version" in the download page, which links to this URL:

The update log doesn't contain links to the various versions, as I expect people to use the download link in the download page instead.
