[Issue+fix] Surface Pen needing to drag a bit before stroke starts
We recently got a user report of strange behavior on Surface Studio: when he puts pen on screen, he has to move the pen a bit before a stroke is made. This makes it impossible to get little dots by dabbing.
On our side, we confirm that this happens on our Surface Pro too, and it does not happen with Wacom pens.
We have contacted Microsoft about the issue. It seems to be a behavior change in recent Windows Update, but yet to be confirmed by Microsoft.

We just put a fix in the x64 version. Please update to version [2018-08-11] to get the fix and report any issue if you find any. When we don't hear any issue from you we'll promote the fix the x32 version too. Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you for working on this. I have also noticed this problem cropping up on my Surface Pro (2017). I'm patiently waiting for the fix to filter down to the Windows Store version. Until then I'll be using my Wacom tablet.

Thanks for letting us know.
Currently our Desktop App Converter (DAC) is broken, not sure if it's caused by some Windows Update.
Been trying to contacting Microsoft but no response yet.
Will update the Store version once we get the DAC working again.

wow.... I found the solution! Not from Microsoft but from here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51437203/desktopappconverter-woes-windows-10-v-17134
So it looks like it's their anti-virus working against their converter. Disabling their real-time protection fixed it.
Will now submit the Store version and please wait a few days before it gets thru.
